I haven’t found this with any other medium, and I find it absolutely enthralling to watch.
Sometimes the painting feels like it’s painting itself - and this is ink and watercolour at it’s best.
In this online program, you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to the mediums, as well as trainings in new skills and application processes.
Learn the rules so you can break them - you’ll learn techniques like glazing, flooding and masking - as well as my personal techniques to creating almost “effortless” pieces (although I have to say, there can be a lot of effort in the restraint!) that sometimes feel like they complete themselves.
You’ll also learn exactly how I create the blooming watercolour pieces I’ve become known for recently!

Different water based inks, application processes, papers, brushes and techniques like glazing, wet brush, dry brush, masking.
You’ll learn how to make ink dramatically flow or stay put where you want it, and how to mix colours and create harmonious palettes.
Relax into the magic of these mediums - experience the flow and meditation of creating water based art.
By the end of the course you’ll have many practise pieces, and at least one finished piece!
